Jeff Matthews is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and British Columbia. From 1991 to 1994, Jeff worked in the audit group of a major international public accounting firm. Since 1994, he has worked exclusively in the forensic and investigative accounting field.
Jeff has focused on the quantification of economic losses for insurance and litigation matters. His experience has included business interruption insurance claim calculations and loss of income calculations for civil litigation matters related to personal injury, breach of contract, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. He has worked for a variety of industries, including construction, farming, forestry, hospitality, manufacturing, mining, real estate, retail stores, service industries (including dental, legal and medical professions), and utilities. Jeff has provided expert witness testimony in the Supreme Court of British Columbia relating to income loss matters.
